The Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy will host the 15th annual TJOGEL Symposium on February 20th and 21st. TJOGEL is the largest student-run publication focusing on energy law scholarship in the United States and the Symposium is our premier event, bringing together legal practitioners from across the state and country to discuss the latest developments in the world of oil, gas, and energy law.

The Case for Reparations in America

Join TMLS for its academic symposium on Friday, February 21, 2020. This year’s topic is “The Case for Reparations in the United States”. Scholars and academics in the field of reparations will discuss the legal and moral justifications for reparations from 10-11am. From 11-12pm, our panelists will discuss the practicalities of implementing a system of reparations in the United States today. We will break for lunch from 12-1pm. Our keynote speaker will then address current attempts to pass reparations laws in this country.
