Please join the Texas Federalist Society as we host Professor Ilan Wurman of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University to discuss his new book titled The Second Founding: An Introduction to the Fourteenth Amendment. Professor Wurman will discuss the original meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment's most famous provisions and provide context for how the Amendment's framers sought to use those provisions to solve some of the 19th century's greatest challenges.

Weighing in on the discussion will be Professor Evan Bernick of Georgetown Law. Professor Bernick serves as the Executive Director of the Georgetown Center for the Constitution.

The first 50 Texas Law students to register will receive a $10 redemption code for DoorDash to enjoy a meal during the event.
