The focus of this year’s event will be on administrative proceedings vs. Article III court litigation, the advantages of each forum, and the interaction between them.

Come get free breakfast and join us for the Kirkland & Ellis Happy Hour afterwards at Haymaker!

The event will run from around 9am to 5pm CST. It will consist of a variety of panels with a diverse group of speakers and will be CLE accredited. We are excited to have two panels of judges for our event, a panel of US District Court Judges and a panel of USPTO Administrative Patent Judges (including Austin's own Judge Brian Range). Other presenters will include academics Professor Saurabh Vishnubhakat and Professor Sapna Kumar. Practitioners from various firms across the country will also present their findings and opinions on the interplay between administrative proceedings and traditional patent litigation.
