    Clerkship Applications – Getting Started

    Join the Judicial Clerkship Program for one of our three introductory sessions on Judicial Clerkships. We'll introduce you to the resources and support available to apply to judicial clerkships as well as detailed instructions on how to begin the application process for 2024-term clerkship positions. For 2Ls and 3Ls only.

    Careers in National Security Law

    On Wednesday, September 7, Professors Adam Klein, Chinny Sharma, and Steve Vladeck will discuss “Careers in National Security Law: Five Things You Need to Know” with interested students. Professors Klein and Sharma will introduce the Strauss Center and its programs, joined by Professor Vladeck to talk about careers in national security, and answer students’ questions in an informal format. They’ll also discuss how students can be a part of the Strauss Center’s National Security Law Student Fellowsprogram, which provides credentials, networking opportunities, and career support to UT Law students.

    The Texas Regional Office of the US Patent and Trademark Office are invited to speak at Texas Law the evening of September 7, 2022. Regional Director Hope Shimabuku and members of the TXRO Outreach Team will present to Texas Law students and faculty on their career journeys and practices, followed by a meet-and-greet event to discuss career opportunities at the USPTO.
