On Thursday, March 9, the Strauss Center welcomes Scott Roecker, Vice President, Nuclear Materials Security, and the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) for a talk on “The Evolution of Nuclear Security and Implications of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine.” This talk will be held at the LBJ School of Public Affairs as part of the Strauss Center’s Brumley Speaker Series.

In his talk, Scott will talk broadly about the history of nuclear security, including the Cooperative Threat Reduction program, the Nuclear Security Summit process of the Obama Era, and how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is changing how we think about nuclear security.
