The new book El “Tri”: Deportes, Derechos Humanos y Violencia (The “Tri”: Sports, Human Rights, and Violence) written by Ariel Dulitzky in collaboration with Texas Law alum Clarissa Iglesias Torres and published by the Instituto de Estudios Constitucionales del Estado de Querétaro (The Institute for Constitutional Studies of Querétaro State in Mexico) will be presented March 30. Merel Pontier, LL.M. ’20, co-founder and legal director of the Clinton Young Foundation and Clinton Young will speak on their journey to right a wrongful conviction from the Netherlands to Texas. Clinton spent 18 years on death row and was almost executed before Merel bonded him out in 2021. They’re here to tell the story.

Join If/When/How and Astrid Ackerman, legal fellow at the Center for Reproductive Rights, for a discussion about Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA. This lawsuit challenges the FDA's approval of mifepristone, one of the pills used in the two-pill medication abortion regimen.
