    Pathways - Careers in Finance

    Come hear about legal careers in the financial services industry at our next Pathways event at 12 pm CT on January 15, 2025. The panel will feature CWIL Founding Member Linda Broocks and fellow Kean Miller partner, Carolyn Roch, who will speak about their organization, Southeastern Women in Financial Services, and talk about the opportunities for women lawyers in the areas of banking, securities, and finance. They will also discuss their own paths to becoming trial lawyers who have a specialty in securities litigation, arbitration, and regulatory representation.

    First Amendment Realignment, Prof. Tebbe

    Professor Nelson Tebbe (Cornell Law School) joins us to discuss his recent paper, A First Amendment Realignment: Political Inversion in the Law of Speech Hosts. In his paper, Professor Tebbe argues that political inversions have affected constitutional discourse around the regulation of digital platforms and campus speech, and he explores the challenges and possibilities that these turnabouts may present.
