Interested in a judicial internship for Spring 2025? Get an insider's look from your classmates who have been through it. Judicial internships are rare and coveted opportunities: they offer hands-on experience in some of the most demanding, dynamic, and exciting legal environments. They’re also one of the few ways to get “behind the scenes” of the judicial decision-making process while you’re still in law school. Texas Law is at the center of judicial excellence in the country, and there are numerous opportunities at both the state and federal levels (trial and appellate), covering a variety of complex legal issues. You’ll learn how to find a good fit and apply, and how to parlay your coursework into a one-of-a-kind experiential learning opportunity. We’ll also discuss the course component of the internship, which focuses on enhancing your experience with legal writing, confidentiality and ethics, professionalism, and judicial decision-making.
