Join us for a conversation with Sarah Rich, the G. Rollie White Scholar in Residence, as she discusses "Defending Immigrants and the Rule of Law: A Career in the Public Interest in Exceptional Times."

In this talk, Sarah will discuss her work cataloguing, preparing for, and responding to the anti-immigrant and anti-democratic policies of the second Trump administration over the past two and a half years. Her talk will cover the importance of working in coalition, defending the rule of law, and understanding history, in addition to first-hand accounts of her experiences defending clients from executive overreach.

The event will take place in the Eidman Courtroom (CCJ 2.306) from 11:50 AM to 12:50PM. Lunch will be provided in the Jamail Pavilion immediately following the discussion. Sarah will be available for further conversation in the Jury Room from 11:50am to 11:50pm on March 4.

Open to the public. Please RSVP for lunch: https://utexas.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cOOAncQ44hXjzNQ
