Join the Texas Law Veterans Association for coffee and conversation every Wednesday morning from 8 am to 9 am in the Tom Clark Lounge (next to the Docket). It's a great way to connect with fellow veterans, build community, and start your day with good company and caffeine. All law veteran students, alumni, and supporters of the org are welcome.

Interested in talking with attorneys at Foley & Lardner about what a career in litigation might look like? Join the Board of Advocates and our friends from Foley for both breakfast and candor in the Jamail Pavilion!

Are you a 1L student at a Texas law school who is in the process of completing their Declaration of Intention to Study Law, and you have unanswered questions about the Declaration form or filing process? In addition to our FAQ page, we offer Declaration Office Hours to help you get the answers you need.

Members of the Texas Real Estate Law Society (TRELS) can come grab a kolache and chat with other members at our weekly meeting!

Presented each fall by the CSO, the Public Service Expo offers Texas Law students an opportunity to informally meet with government agencies and public interest organizations to learn about the employers and available internship and job opportunities.

This year's Expo will be held over two days in the Susman Godfrey Atrium from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 and Wednesday, September 30, 2026. There will be different employers attending each day.

Join the Christian Legal Society for Bible study, lunch, and fellowship. Lunch is provided, and all are welcome.

Weekly meeting for the Catholic Law Student Society

The Center will host a conversation with Cisselon Nichols Hurd, Senior Legal Counsel for Shell USA, Inc (ret.). Join us to hear career insights and leadership lessons from a nationally respected environmental litigator whose career includes two Fortune 500 companies, is a former federal prosecutor and a legal leader in mentorship and community service. Lunch will be provided.

Join the Women's Law Caucus for a social hour with attorneys from Foley & Lardner. There will be drinks and light snacks and we will have a fun activity students can do! More information will be available closer to the start of the event.

Stop by the Atrium to chat with catastrophic personal injury attorney Spencer Pahlke about what it's like to build a practice in plaintiffs' law. He's flying all the way in from the Bay Area and is excited to get the chance to chat with you all!

Join Latham & Watkins and the Women's Law Caucus for a reception at Tiny Boxwoods in the Rosemary Room. The event will be on September 29 from 6-8pm. This is a members-only, RSVP required event.

Join the Texas Law Veterans Association (TLVA) and First Generation Law Students (FGLS) for a Q&A with Gregg Costa about life on the federal bench. Costa is a former federal judge with the Southern District of Texas as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is currently the Global Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn's Trials Practice Group.

Everyone at the law school is welcome to attend. 1Ls are encouraged to ask about Gibson Dunn. Following the event, TLVA and FGLS members are invited to a private happy hour at Posse East hosted by Gibson Dunn.
