In-Person at Texas Law
The Career Services Office will be hosting the Mock Interview Program: Private Sector for 1Ls ahead of the upcoming recruiting and interviewing season. This program will give students the opportunity to practice interviewing with employers who will provide feedback before real interviews begin.

Texas Talks serves as a chance for 1Ls to connect with a variety of law firms to learn more about their organization and the practice of law. All Texas Law 1Ls are encouraged to stop by the Law School Atrium from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Thursday and 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Friday (October 22-23, 2026) to connect with attorneys and recruiting coordinators. There will be different employers attending each day.

BOA members who have not competed in an intramural or interscholastic mock trial competition before are eligible to enter. There will be two preliminary rounds followed by a semifinal and final round.
