    PSCD - Preselect Scheduling Ends

    Preselected students must accept/decline interviews by noon via the Texas Consortium Symplicity Module for Public Service Career Day (PSCD), which is the largest public service job fair for law students in Texas.

    Alternate students may begin scheduling available interviews at 6 p.m. Alternate scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Each spring the CSO presents a Mock Interview Program where attorneys come on campus to provide mock interviews with 1L students prior to Spring OCI and Public Service Career Day. If interview slots remain available, the CSO will notify 2Ls and 3Ls that they may register as well.

    Judicial Internships for the Summer

    Judicial internships are open to all students including 1Ls. There are hundreds of summer judicial internship opportunities available throughout the nation. You may be able to receive school credit if you intern for a federal district, federal appellate, or state appellate judge, including receiving three hours of credit for interning at the Texas Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, and the Third Court of Appeals. UT Law students and judicial advisors, will discuss their judicial internship experiences and how they secured their positions. Panelists include Shawna Williams, 3L (Judge Walters, Oregon Supreme Court); Jackie Lynch, 2L (Judge Atlas, U.S. District Court for Southern District of Texas); Kelly Whitebread, 2L (Bankruptcy Judge Bohm, U.S. District Court for Southern District of Texas); Megan Dagerman, 2L (Judge Alcala, Texas Court of Appeals, First District); Mary Crouter, Assistant Director of the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law; and Remi Ratliff, Director of Judicial Programs with the Career Services Office.
