Former federal prosecutor and magistrate judge Robert Pitman will discuss his recent nomination and confirmation as United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas, his career as a prosecutor, his experience as an “out” gay man working in law, and his reflections on what makes a competitive clerkship applicant.Co-sponsored by OUTLaw, American Constitution Society, and the Career Services Office.

Participating students will have the opportunity to network one-on-one with legal professionals from a variety of practice areas, as well as fellow students, during several short (8-10 minutes) speed networking rounds on March 1. Space is limited to the first 50 students who sign up starting at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, on UT Law Symplicity (select the “Events” tab).
