Students applying for judicial clerkships are invited to this hands-on workshop to learn how to write a strong personal statement. Jason Crandall of the Law School Writing Center will discuss how to draft a strong personal statement, and then you'll actually start drafting your own statement. Lunch will be served.

On Friday, January 31, Heather Jarvis (askheatherjarvis.com) will be speaking about "Public Service Loan Forgiveness in Five Easy Steps" during lunch from noon-1:15 p.m. as part of the Public Service Career Fair.

UT Law is hosting federal and state court judges to talk to UT Law students about clerking. Every student who is applying for a judicial clerkship is required to attend at least one of the small group discussions; 1Ls are also encouraged to attend. RSVP on UT Law Symplicity.
