The Peggy Browning Fund, whose mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of law students to become advocates for workplace justice, is conducting a regional workshop about labor law and the career paths available. Moderated by Bill Beardall from the Equal Justice Center and Texas Law Clinical Professor and Director. The student-run Action Committee for Career Services will be hosting a Mock Networking Reception for Texas Law students to practice the art of networking. This fun and informal event will simulate an actual networking reception in order to best prepare you for real-world scenarios such as the upcoming Texas Talks: Careers in Law, employer receptions and open houses during the Winter Break, and more. You will have the chance to practice your networking skills with your fellow students and asks questions of faculty, career counselors, and upperclassman about reception etiquette, networking tips, and more. Space is limited!
