Join us for an event for new and returning students exploring lawyering for social change, including an inspiring keynote address, an alumni panel, and opportunities to connect with like-minded students, faculty, staff and attorneys.

This year, Change It Up! will take place over two afternoons, the keynote address on Friday, August 28 and an alumni panel and student breakout sessions on Friday, September 11 – all via Zoom.

All Texas Law students are welcome to learn more about the U.S. Army JAG program from Captain Huggins, Field Screening Officer, who will answer questions about the U.S. JAG program, including summer internship and postgraduate opportunities. Judge Advocates are military attorneys responsible for offering legal support that involves military operations. They primarily focus on the areas of criminal law, legal assistance, civil/administrative law, labor/employment law, international/operational law, intelligence law, and contract/fiscal law.
