Judicial Internships: Excellent Experience for Summer & Beyond

TNH 3.142 (Walker Classroom)

Please RSVP by Sunday, February 11, on Symplicity.

Interested in learning about judicial decision-making first-hand, or how you can parlay your coursework with a unique opportunity for experiential learning during the semester or summer? Come hear from students about their different internship experiences and how the Judicial Internship Program helped them hone their communication, analytical, and research and writing skills.

Learn more about how to match your goals with the right internship experience - the types and styles of work and opportunities for court observation vary widely. There are opportunities available in state and federal courts that handle a variety of legal cases and issues involving child welfare, probate and guardianship, bankruptcy, trial courts, administrative hearings, and appellate practice. Also learn about the internship's course component and the focus on enhancing the internship, legal writing, confidentiality and ethics, professionalism, and judicial decision-making.

Moderated by Vasu Behara, Clinical Professor and Director of the Judicial Internship Program.
