    TX July '11 Bar Exam App Timely Deadline

    Reminder for 3Ls planning to sit for the Texas July 2011 Bar Exam: in order for your In-State Application to Take the TX Bar Exam to be considered timely-filed it must be postmarked by Jan. 30, 2011. This deadline is strictly enforced. A $150 late fee will apply for all applications filed after Jan. 30 and up to the March 30, 2011 absolute postmark deadline.

    Applicants who have not yet filed their Declaration of Intention to Study Law must do so prior to or with their In-State Application.

    Texas BLE at UT Law

    Julia Vaughan, Executive Director of the Texas Board of Law Examiners, will be at UT Law on Tuesday, February 8 at 3:30 pm in the TNH 3.142. Ms. Vaughan will provide an overview of the Texas Bar Exam and the resources available to students to aid in preparation. 3L’s planning on taking the Texas Bar will find this session very informative.

    Early Bar Prep - Intro to the Bar Exam

    This first session of the Early Bar Preparation Series will introduce 3L's to the structure of most state bars, and will also address the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) which is a part of many bar exams. Students can easily begin practicing MPTs NOW in order to be ready for the bar exam in July.

    Early Bar Prep - Intro to the Bar Exam

    This first session of the Early Bar Preparation Series will introduce 3L's to the structure of most state bars, and will also address the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) which is a part of many bar exams.     Live Session. Sessions are intended for 3L's and LLMs who plan to take the July Bar.
