    TX July '12 Bar Exam App Timely Deadline

    Reminder for 3Ls planning to sit for the Texas July 2012 Bar Exam: in order for your In-State Application to Take the TX Bar Exam to be considered timely-filed it must be postmarked by Jan. 30, 2012. This deadline is strictly enforced. A $150 late fee will apply for all applications filed after Jan. 30 and up to the March 30, 2012 absolute postmark deadline.

    Applicants who have not yet filed their Declaration of Intention to Study Law must do so prior to or with their In-State Application.

    Notary Clinic

    Notaries public will be made available at the Law School in the Susman Godfrey Atrium from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Monday, January 30. All students needing to have materials notarized prior to their January bar exam deadlines should plan to attend this clinic.

    Please note that notary services will NOT be available at the Law School at any other time.

    Last day to drop a course for a refund. Adds after this date will be billed, even if a drop is made.

    This is the 12th class day. All courses dropped after this date will appear on your transcript.

    Payment for added courses is due by 5:00 p.m.

    Gold E. Locks Mock Trial

    Law students perform in a mock trial with Gold E. Locks, a well-known storybook figure, as the defendant. The Honorable Edward C. Prado, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, will preside. Children in the courtroom will be selected to serve as the jurors.
