The Supreme Court Clinic is a unique and fascinating opportunity to see advocacy in action involving the most pressing legal questions of the day. You will work with wonderful mentors, participate in preparations for oral argument, and—perhaps most importantly—learn to write to a court. No matter where your career takes you, the ability to write well is paramount. There is no better opportunity at UT Law to advance that skill than the Supreme Court Clinic.
My current practice involves a substantial amount of appellate litigation, and the Clinic helped lay an important foundation for my career. UT Law is fortunate to have this Clinic, and students should be eager to take part in all it has to offer.
