Information for the Public
Texas Law clinics accept only a small number of cases and do not provide advice to persons other than clients. Most clinics accept cases strictly through referrals from nonprofit organizations or by court appointment. A few clinics accept a limited number of cases in response to requests for assistance from individuals, community groups and other entities.
If you have a legal problem and would like to see how our clinics accept cases, visit the clinic most relevant to your situation.
If the relevant clinic does not accept cases in response to requests from the public, or if you have a type of legal problem that is not addressed by any of our clinics, we cannot assist you. The Richard and Ginni Mithoff Pro Bono Program does not accept requests for help directly from individuals. You may wish to contact the following organizations for assistance:
