This two hour course will focus on the resources and methodology used in performing legal research in Texas. It will also provide instruction and feedback on writing generally. Through a series of lectures and assignments students will become familiar with the various types of legal research; including statutory law, case law, administrative regulations, and secondary practice materials in both print and electronic formats. Students will complete both research and writing projects for the class. The course is offered on a Pass/Fail basis. Class size is limited to 16 students.
