Class Unique: 28895
The Children’s Rights Clinic teaches students to practice law through three methods: 1) supervised practice, 2) class instruction, and 3) case reviews and rounds. Working under a supervising attorney, each student learns to practice by representing children as an attorney ad litem in cases alleging child maltreatment brought by the state. Students also meet together twice a week for classroom discussion about substantive law and policy, procedural and practice issues, and ethical issues. More information is available on the clinic's webpage.
