Legal Writing, Advanced: Business Litigation

Business Litigation is a two-credit legal writing course in which students build a class action lawsuit by investigating documentary evidence, conducting legal research, and drafting court documents. Students receive training in legal research, analysis, and writing. Course assignments include predictive memos, pleadings, and persuasive briefs that students write from the perspective of plaintiffs' counsel advocating for class certification against a major corporation.
