Description
This class will discuss in detail various arguments supporting and opposing the practice of capital punishment. We will consider how the debate surrounding capital punishment has shifted over time and across jurisdictions. We will also consider arguments focused on the prevailing administration of the death penalty in the United States, including its distribution, current death-row incarceration practices, and challenges to execution methods.
