U.S. Army JAG Corps Internship Application

The application deadline for the 2023 – 2024 academic year is July 21, 2023.

  1. Students must commit to a full year of internship (both long academic terms, excluding the summer).
  2. Students will receive 4 credits, 2 for each term of the internship.
  3. Students may benefit from having completed or being enrolled in an upper-level criminal law course such as Adv. Fed. Crim. Prosecution & Defense, Federal Criminal Law, National Security Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, or Computer Law. None of those courses are required.

To apply, please email a copy of your cover letter, resume, and transcript (unofficial is fine) to Prof. Klein at sklein@law.utexas.edu and Captain Andrew Lane at Andrew.d.lane7.mil@army.mil.  There is no additional application form.
