Pro Bono Awards
Each spring the Mithoff Program recognizes students who excel in their commitment to pro bono service. The Mithoff Program’s Pro Bono Awards include:
- Pro Bono Beacons: Recognizes the students in each Texas Law class who have donated the most hours of pro bono service.
- Pro Bono Torchbearers: Recognizes graduating students who have donated 100 or more hours of pro bono service.
- Pro Bono Honors: Recognizes graduating students who have fulfilled their Pro Bono Pledge.
The student society with the most pro bono hours and 1L and 2L students who’ve met their pro bono benchmarks also are recognized at the annual pro bono awards event.
