Support Parents’ Education, Advocacy, and Knowledge (SPEAK)

The Mithoff Program’s SPEAK Project educates parents about their special education rights and how to access appropriate services for their children.

The SPEAK Project offers Zoom counseling sessions to parents of children with disabilities during virtual clinics held approximately six times during the academic year. If you are interested in attending a counseling session, please complete this survey (en espanol).

Sending us your information does not guarantee that the SPEAK Project will be able to assist you. Counseling sessions take place in the fall and spring semesters, and response times during winter and summer break may be slow.
