Cancer Law Clinic with Austin Bar Association

Students will assist attorney volunteers at the Austin Bar's Cancer Law (CANLAW) Clinic. Students will assist with the preparation, review, and execution of estate planning documents that meet the need of cancer patients. These documents include a Will, Statutory Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, HIPAA Release, and a Physicians and Family Directive. Students also may shadow attorney volunteers as they provide estate planning legal services to the cancer community.
