Student poll monitors will serve as resources to voters and document any issues during Early Voting and Election Day such as long lines, delayed openings, voter intimidation, and voting mis- and disinformation. Student poll monitors will be able to triage issues in real time, collect voter declarations when necessary, and do rapid response with voting rights attorneys through NAACP LDF’s 866-OUR-VOTE hotline and using in-house tools. Student poll monitors are particularly needed to cover shifts during Early Voting in Texas.
