Students will work with Texas Appleseed lawyers for a week over winter break. Students will research mechanisms for filing administrative complaints with the Treasury Department in relation to American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) funds, utilizing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or other civil rights grounds. Students also will examine ARPA Local and State Fiscal Recovery Funds guidelines for potential ways to bolster complaints.
