Students will research and prepare materials on entity types, basic corporate governance, and general business law questions before a March 30 event for student entrepreneurs. At the event, students will give a brief presentation on their assigned topics and answer questions from student entrepreneurs. The Student Entrepreneur Event is a partnership between the Mithoff Program and The Launchpad.
Organization
Mithoff Pro Bono Program
The Mithoff Program’s Transactional Project provides legal support to local small business owners without access to legal services, and gives law students an opportunity to build transactional legal skills. The project advises entrepreneurs on choice of entity formation, forming an LLC, and corporate governance and compliance issues. The March 30 event will be conducted in partnership with The Launchpad. The Launchpad is an entrepreneurship hub that helps undergraduate and graduate students of all majors explore and navigate entrepreneurship on the 40 Acres.
