Law students will work with the High School Outreach Pipeline Program Scholars to draft and deliver practical, engaging lessons tailored to junior and senior high school students. Initial lessons will include practical lawyering and advocacy skills and a substantive lesson on Hernandez v. Texas and legal issues around citizenship.

The Pipeline to Law School Program at Texas Law is committed to improving opportunities for all students to pursue a legal education, particularly students who are first generation or low income. The Pipeline Program, announced in May of 2021 and launching this year, will establish an array of programming, including opportunities for high school students.
