He additionally served with both the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (Department of State), and the Marine Corps Special Operations Command before entering the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps of the U.S. Army at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has handled over three hundred cases and been sole or lead counsel in thirty-three contested trials, of which he has won thirty.
The presentation draws parallels between operational military planning and trial, and highlights how these planning techniques can form effective trial strategies. The presentation covers military science, psychology, and game theory.
