The Texas Law Alumni Association's Townes Hall Morning Coffee will kick off on Monday, January 28th, through the spring semester. Open to all students every Monday morning! Please bring your favorite travel mug (we are going green, so no paper products will be provided) and enjoy FREE coffee every Monday morning to start your week off right on behalf of the Alumni Association. Coffee will be located at one, large stations located near the 1L Classrooms (by TNH 2.140, TNH 2.319) beginning at 8:45am until it's gone, so get there early!

The Environmental Law Society (ELS) is hosting a discussion with environmental and energy law professors about the classes being offered next year. Designed for students intending to take the bar in summer 2109, this session will introduce students to the different sections of the bar exam and the subject areas covered. Additionally, we'll discuss practical considerations for the bar exam study period. The session is also the introductory session of the optional Bar Exam Skills and Training three week workshop, which runs the three weeks after Spring Break. Pizza lunch will be served! This training is designed to acclimate students to the specific format needed to write bar essays. In each session, students will write a practice essay (no background substantive knowledge required) and will receive feedback before the next session.
