Faculty meeting and lunch

Any Texas Law students interested in participating in the write-on competition are invited to attend this information session. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory in order to enroll in the write-on process, which takes place after finals. Members of both Volume 101 (the current Volume) and Volume 102 (the upcoming Volume) of the Texas Law Review will be available to answer any questions and talk about their experiences on TLR. Lunch will be provided!

Please join the Texas Federalist Society for a free lunch and a engrossing debate between Texas Law Professor Jennifer Laurin and Charles Stimson, Deputy Director of the Edwin III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies as they discuss the future of selective criminal prosecution.

Open House for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 student internships. Interested students can earn 2 credits per semester. The deadline to apply is March 2024.

Professor Susan Klein invites students interested in an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Federal Public Defender's Office or the U.S. Army JAG at Ft. Hood to an Internship Open House. Special Guest Matthew Harding, the U.S. Attorney supervising that internship, will be there, and they will both be available to the students to answer questions. Refreshments served.
