Join Professor Dickerson for an alternative curriculum discussion exploring how race and power shape procedural law, including the ways due process protections have been threatened in majority-Black communities. This conversation invites critical reflection on whether procedural rules truly advance fairness and equal justice.

Texas Federalist Society is hosting a debate on whether it is proper for law enforcement authorities to use ethnicity when making immigration stops. We will host James Rogers from America First Legal and Professor Maria Ponomarenko from the University of Texas School of Law to discuss this issue. Chick-fil-a will be provided!

Judges will share professional insights, career paths, and advice for aspiring attorneys, followed by a Q&A. All law students are welcome to attend.

Each summer, Baylor University Law School and the University of St. Andrews, in St. Andrews, Scotland, partner together to offer the Academy of the Advocate. Here, students step into an immersive, two-week trial and appellate advocacy experience led by some of the finest civil trial lawyers, criminal prosecutors, sitting judges, and renowned advocacy professors in America. This summer, the Academy will take place July 26 – August 9, 2026 in
