Texas Federalist Society is hosting a debate on the best way to improve access to legal services. We will host Justice Brett Busby of the Texas Supreme Court and Lee Yeakel, Senior Counsel at King & Spalding (and former U.S. District Court Judge) to discuss this issue. Chick-fil-a will be provided to attendees!

Join Law Students for Life for a discussion with Dr. Joe Pojman, President of Texans for Life Coalition, on the impact of pro-life laws in Texas. Dr. Pojman has spent decades working with legislators and advocates to develop pro-life policy at the Texas Capitol. He will discuss how recent laws were crafted and whether they are working in practice, followed by Q&A. Lunch provided.

Texas Federalist Society is hosting a presentation on the continued significance of the Declaration of Independence, 250 years after its signing. We will host Judge Don Willett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for this event. Chick-fil-a will be provided to attendees!

Texas Federalist Society is hosting a panel with two new federal judges to discuss their transition to their new jobs and life as a new federal judge. We will host Judge Nick Ganjei of the Southern District of Texas and Judge Lindsey Freeman of the Middle District of North Carolina for this event. The panel will be moderated by Professor Aaron Nielson of the University of Texas School of Law. Chick-fil-a will be provided to attendees!
