A panel of current and former clerks will share about their experience applying for and working in judicial clerkships. The Texas Law Judicial Clerkship Program team will also provide information on our program and how to begin applying for clerkships. This program is for all class years: 1L trying to figure out what postgraduate public interest fellowships are, 2Ls navigating the summer employer and potential host organization search and 3Ls committed to applying for fellowships post judicial clerkships. A panel of current and former fellows will address how you should be preparing now to position yourself as a viable candidate for these highly competitive fellowships.

These questions highlight the personal preferences that are crucial for career satisfaction. You’ll also receive a handout that summarizes the fifty most common practice areas and will give you the information you need to translate your personal preferences into career decisions.
