In this session, students will review basic portions of Con Law with Prof. Erwin Chemerinsky in preparation for the July Bar exam. Law students perform in a mock trial with Gold E. Locks, a well-known storybook figure, as the defendant. The Honorable Edward C. Prado, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, will preside. Children in the courtroom will be selected to serve as the jurors.

Most bars (including TX, CA and NY) include a performance test - the Multistate Performance Test is most commonly used. The MPT includes a fact pattern, the law that applies to those facts and an assignment for you to complete, typically a memo. Many students ignore the MPT while studying, to their peril. Learn now how to approach the MPT as well as the skills you'll need to pass.
