30	October 1 All day "Declaration of Intent" Timely Deadline The Declaration of Intent to Study Law must be filed by all persons who have begun their law study at ABA-approved schools in Texas and intend to apply for licensure in Texas. Your Declaration must be filed or postmarked by October 1st to be considered timely-filed. A $150 late fee will be imposed on all Declarations filed after October 1st. The TX BLE office is not open on weekends; if you would like to hand deliver your completed application by the end of the Monday, October 1st business day, the TX BLE office is located at: 205 W. 14th St. Ste 500, Austin, TX 78701 You're encouraged to arrive well in advance of the 5 PM closing time. Late-filing Declarants may file at any time prior to or concurrent with the filing of their In-State Application to Take the Texas Bar Exam.
