    Freshlaw Skills Session: Outlining

To outline or not to outline? Is that the question? Learn what an outline is and how it can help you. See examples of different forms of outlines. Yes, you have to do it yourself. Getting an outline from your roommate’s brother’s friend’s website won’t help you on the exam. Yes, you should already be thinking about exams.

    Family Weekend

The School of Law invites the parents and family members of law students to UT Austin’s campus the weekend of October 26–October 28, 2012 for Family Weekend. All of the UT Law events will take place on Saturday, October 27. Enjoy a continental breakfast with other parents. Take a student-guided tour of the building and a librarian-guided tour of the resource-rich library, which also houses many interesting pieces of artwork and antiques. A law school professor will present a mock class to demonstrate the kinds of things your student is learning, as well as how law is taught to our students. Plan to attend the barbecue luncheon and interact with faculty, administrators, students, and their family members.
