The Declaration of Intent to Study Law must be be filed by all persons who have begun their law study at ABA-approved schools in Texas and intend to apply for licensure in Texas.

Your Declaration must be filed or postmarked by October 1st to be considered timely-filed. A $150 late fee will be imposed on all Declarations filed after October 1st.

The School of Law invites the parents and family members of law students to UT Austin’s campus the weekend of October 26–October 28, 2012 for Family Weekend. All of the UT Law events will take place on Saturday, October 27.

Reminder for 3Ls planning to sit for the Texas February 2013 Bar Exam: in order to sit for the exam, your In-State Application to Take the TX Bar Exam must be post-marked by TODAY, October 30, 2013. This deadline is strictly enforced.
