The Supreme Court Clinic was the best experience I had at Texas Law. I worked on cases at the highest level with some of the finest UT Law faculty. Every research assignment, brief section draft, and strategy session with professors and practitioners mattered. I also traveled to the U.S. Supreme Court to see oral arguments firsthand.

Throughout the clinic, I learned how practitioners thought and practiced, and I have been able to apply my experience in my job. I was recently part of an effort to file an emergency petition in light of the COVID-19 public health crisis. I found myself going into clinic-student mode: researching on a time crunch, double-checking citations, and diligently editing. I’m proud to have been a part of this class, and I know I will continue to use what I learned in my full-time role as an advocate.
