Rémi Ratliff is Texas Law’s first Director of Mentoring Programs. In this role, she looks to connect students with our alumni in varied and meaningful ways. Rémi graduated from Wellesley College and Texas Law, where she was a member of the Texas Law Review and was Order of the Coif. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Rose Spector on the Texas Supreme Court and worked at the Public Citizen Litigation Group in Washington, D.C. She then spent four years in the General Counsel’s Office at the U.S. Department of Treasury. Rémi joined the Career Services Office in 2001 and served as the Director of Judicial Programs from 2008 – 2015. Rémi met her husband Shannon Ratliff on the first day of 1L Orientation at the welcome barbeque, and they are the proud parents of Caroline (a Longhorn herself, class of 2023) and Harrison (Georgetown University, class of 2027). In her free time, she can be found running at Lady Bird Lake, walking her Boston terrier Tulip or searching for the best margarita in town.
