Required Information
All pro bono projects must provide:
- Contact information for the supervising attorney and for the host organization or the organization where the attorney has registered;
- A description of the pro bono project including project goals, clients served, and expectations of student volunteers;
- Timeframe for project completion and student participation schedule (i.e.: weekly commitment, single day, according to student availability…);
- Location of required student participation;
- Required legal skills, courses, or clinic experience; and
- Any language requirements.
Project applications should be submitted using the forms below. Applicants may include any training material that will be used to prepare student volunteers and/or additional material, including publications or brochures about the organization or project.
Project Approval
The Pro Bono Director individually reviews and approves all pro bono projects. Upon receiving an application, the Pro Bono Director will work with the applicant to revise the proposal to conform to the Mithoff Pro Bono Program requirements. Prior to submitting an application, applicants may request to meet with the Pro Bono Director to discuss project ideas.
