1Ls: Come learn about judicial clerkships - what they are, why you should clerk, and what you need to be doing now to best position yourself to apply during your 2L year. The Women in Law Institute is an all-day, intensive workshop for law students, judicial clerks, and LL.M.’s. Participants can look forward to expert presentations on the essential skills for navigating a successful career in law: effective communication, self-promotion, and networking. Following each lecture, students work in small groups led by distinguished practitioners (3:1 ratio) to perfect these skills through practice and critiques.

On March 5, 2016, students, teachers, parents and community members from across the state are invited to come to campus for Explore UT – a day-long celebration where visitors get to experience hands-on research and scholarship from UT Austin.
