Rapoport Center Annual Conference: "Inequality & Human Rights"

This year's conference will explore inequality and human rights, addressing questions related to what we know of global, domestic, and regional inequality, and how various forms of and theories about inequality affect human rights work. A cross-regional, interdisciplinary group of activists, policymakers, and academics will work together to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the human rights movement’s efforts to address the issue.

3rd Annual TBLS M&A School

TNH 2.114 (Francis Auditorium)

Ed Rhyne and and Efren Acosta, M&A/Securities Partners from Norton Rose Fulbright, will teach a seminar on Mergers & Acquisitions. The seminar will give a brief introduction and breakdown of many topics including confidentiality, legal due diligence, indemnities, closing the transaction, and many more. This one-day course is a great jumpstart for prepping for a summer internship and a strong introduction for anyone interested in pursuing or learning more about corporate law.
