Join If/When/How Texas Law, American Constitution Society (ACS) at Texas Law, and the ACLU of Texas for a day-long conference on the state of reproductive rights and access in Texas. The conference is open to undergraduate, law, medical, and social work students from across the state. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Join the American Constitution Society at Texas Law for a lunch talk featuring Professor Stephen Vladeck as he discusses the oral arguments in the Supreme Court case Hernandez v. Mesa, involving the cross-border killing of a 15 year old boy by a Border Patrol Agent. The case brings up issues of a cause of action against a federal agent, as established in Bivens v. Six Unknown Named Agents. Lunch will be provided.

Texas Law Review Vol. 96 Book Review Editors will discuss the dates, logistics, and procedures of the Multi-Journal Write-on Competition. This session is mandatory for all students wishing to participate in the competition. If you are unable to attend this session, please contact bookreviews@texaslrev.com.

Michael Molina is the Vice Chancellor for Facilities Planning and Construction for the Texas Tech University System. John Huffaker is the Vice Chancellor and General Counsel for the Texas Tech University System. Mr. Molina and Mr. Huffaker will take us through the real estate development process, from understanding the players and acquiring the land to planning and the realities of code compliance and municipal relationships.
