The conference consists of various speakers and workshops that are aimed at helping students around the country learn about various social justice issues affecting the South, while also equipping them with the tools and skills that will help them to become more impactful advocates. In Spring of 2020, the conference will have several individual speakers and panels discussing topics such as sex work, unions, criminal justice, and more. Overall, the event will be an opportunity for students across UT and across the South to learn what legal social justice advocacy means and how they can be the most effective community lawyers.
